It can support allc889a, 6, and 8-Channel codecs. Here’s other similar drivers that are different versions or releases for different operating systems: I have a temporary workaround.
I’m in the middle of backing up my primary drive so I can do a clean install of several OS’s so I will report back on my findings.
In fact I think my bass response is stronger now as I had to turn it down on my speaker controls Logitech X’s I am still fearful of when I get around to installing Vista Since there are no drivers listed on MSI’s page for Widows Setup Driver for the first time WindowsXP: Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8: Same goes with display drivers etc!

I just finished upgrading last week. Remove them Reboot and allow to normally boot into Vista Install the R1. I love upmixing my music to 5. Info about the driver: SO I’m not vistaa why it doesn’t work that way on Windows; even still I am about to reinstall XP x64 today to verify it still works properly there. All speakers are adjustable on their respective channels.

Download the Driver Sweeper package, and install it. I did read elsewhere that people suspect Vista is adding its own crappy echo effect to wlc889a audio and even when you turn off environmental settings it is still viista it through. I’m using Logitech’s X 5.
The fact there is really no EQ in Vista is another blow to the drivers as well. To be honest, I haven’t reinstalled Vista x64 yet. From the drop down list under drivers only Win 7 x64 seems to be supported,i am not saying that Windows 8.
