I have tried flipping through my TV’s input settings and checking HDMI 1, 2 and 3, and turning on the TV and laptop in various orders without any luck. As you know there is a button which switches between HDMI or in general extern Monitor and the laptop-screen. Another thought — do you plug the laptop into the same HDMI connector every pkrt Try connecting to the Sanyo TV that way, if you can get cords for those connectors. Just got my Inspiron and hooked it up to my philips LCD HD ready tv this morning and immediately got output audio and visual no problems.
